■キッド・カディ BIOGRAPHY■
アメリカ合衆国オハイオ州クリーブランド出身のラッパー、歌手、ソングライター、音楽プロデューサー。
2008年にカニエ・ウェストが主催するレーベル GOOD Music と契約し、デビュー。
ヒップホップにエレクトロニカ・サウンドを融合させた新しいスタイルで話題となる。
デビューシングル「Day ‘n’ Nite」は、全米Billboard Hot 100で最高3位を記録した。
世界的現象となったレディ・ガガをいち早くサンプリングし、師匠カニエ・ウェストとコモンをフィーチャリングした豪華マイク・リレー・トラック「Make Her Say」をリリースするなど、その後も数々の話題作を発表。2020年にはトラヴィス・スコットとの楽曲「The Scotts」が、全米Billboard Hot 100で1位、アルバム「Man on the Moon III: The Chosen」はビルボード200で2位を獲得している。2010年からは本名のスコット・メスカディ名義で俳優としての活動を始めており、音楽、テレビ、映画など幅広い分野で高い評価を得ている。
